You’re certainly entitled to your opinion, but please do not say it’s not real if you do not understand it. Because if there’s one thing I try to inject into all my poetry, it is truth. If not blatantly, then subtly.

This piece, while true is definitely not the best work ever done, has meaning to me in every single line.

While it rhymes and all, i fail to see the emotion in it…it seems sort of like a mockery of the gothic subculture. It just doesn’t seem…real. It sorta sounds like the “goth stuff” that you read about in books or see in movies. In reality, that’s only a stereotype….so the “silver grave” is just a bit over the top. Hinting at death is also far more poetic than saying it straight out. No offence, that’s just sorta how it reads.
